The primary mission of the Greater Lytle Area Chamber of Commerce is support and advocacy for our business members. Many of our small and micro businesses do not have a built-in support network like those of many corporate businesses. They must rely on internal systems to resolve business problems and navigate many different resources to create solutions to those problems. The Lytle Chamber of Commerce will assist by providing information, education, and advocacy to member businesses that interact with state and local government, community partners, utility companies, and other non-member institutions.
The secondary mission of the Lytle Chamber is to promote profitable economic development within the business community. This is achieved by educating members, mentoring entrepreneurs, fostering innovation, and promoting good business practices within the membership. One important aspect of this is to encourage fair competition, and mutually beneficial trade between the business members which will grow a strong network of interconnected businesses.
Thirdly, the Lytle Chamber aims to be a good community partner. We will support and promote community activities which are in the best interest of our business members. We understand that the along with the local governments and school systems, our business community is one of the pillars that make up the critical infrastructure for a successful community.
